Would you like to learn from us?

Stablecroft works alongside numerous schools, colleges & universities providing work experience to over 20 students per year. We love this process, knowing full well the importance of gaining real life experience outside of the classroom.

Given the nature of our work and the high level of responsibility we take on when caring for people's dogs, we ask you only apply if working with animals is something you hope to do. The work will be hard and you will be subjected to all weather conditions, but it can also be very rewarding and great for your CV.

If you'd like to join us for 1-3 weeks we'd ask the following:
You must be undertaking work experience as a part of your studies. For insurance purposes we cannot work with anyone independently. 

You contact us yourself. We will not respond to a parent/guardian writing an email on your behalf. This is work experience after all. This task is replicating a job application, which is just as important as the work itself. Understand that we will decide whether to accept you based on the email we receive, so take the time to explain who you are and why you want to learn from us.

If accepted, we ask that you arrive with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. We've got an incredible team of humans working here, so if you show them you're keen, they'll feel obliged to teach you as much as they can.
